What will you be doing

As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) you will lead and optimize supply chain initiatives through technical expertise and strategic execution. In this role, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional programs to enhance supply chain efficiency, resilience, and scalability. Acting as the key interface between partners, suppliers and internal cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Operations, Legal, Supply Chain and Management you will ensure seamless collaboration and execution. You will oversee, plan, and manage the entire product development cycle, approving the product at each stage while maintaining and providing a clear overview through detailed project plans – including planning, budget, and capacity.

Our manufacturing machine has the potential to transform the way mRNA-based therapeutics, vaccines, and diagnostics are produced, offering a faster and more scalable solution to address global health challenges.

We have designed the machine from the ground up, utilizing the most advanced biological processes as the basis for this completely re-imagined way of manufacturing. Over the past 3 years, our team of engineers and scientists has laid a strong foundation. Now, we are converting our Proof-of-Concept into a robust, industrialized machine.

Key job responsibilities

• Program and stakeholder Management: Lead end-to-end design and supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, on-time delivery, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Process Optimization: Analyze and improve supply chain processes through data-driven insights and automation strategies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with procurement, logistics, finance, and engineering teams to optimize supply chain performance and resolve challenges.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with design and supply chain disruptions, supplier dependencies, and compliance requirements.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and provide actionable insights.
• Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers, third-party logistics providers, and other partners to enhance supply chain resilience and cost-effectiveness.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for operational excellence.

What do we expect from you?

• Master/PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering
  OR
  Master/PhD degree Engineering and life-science-enthusiast (Molecular Biology, Lab-on-a-chip, Point-of-care, etc). Either is coupled with substantive knowledge of production techniques.
  5+, preferably 7+, years of relevant work experience.
• Proven excellence in clear and articulate communication, paired with the ability to work effectively within collaborative team environments.
• Creative problem-solving skills, spanning across disciplines from molecular biology to all facets of engineering and industrialization.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, ensuring the seamless execution of tasks and the timely attainment of project goals.
• Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Experience with plastics production techniques is a plus.
• Experience with system integration is a plus.
