Sander van Asbeck, CEO and co-founder of RiboPro has been elected most promising entrepreneur of the year 2022. With his company, he develops messenger RNA technology for the development of new medical treatments.

Last Saturday night the award ceremony took place at the annual Business Gala Oss. To the delight of the organization, after being cancelled for two successive years due to corona, the event could finally take place.
Pioneering researcher

According to the organization, Van Asbeck was given the tile ‘Most Promising Entrepreneur of the year’ because he excels as a pioneering researcher with a progressive entrepreneurial mentality. Located at Pivot Park in Oss, RiboPro develops and produces mRNA completely in-house based on self developed technology. This results in a lead-time weeks shorter than usual.

Customers around the globe
A growing number of researchers and pharmaceutical companies use the RNA services of RiboPro. While the technology is best known for corona vaccines, the future application is much wider.

Growth
Recently the company has raised 1.2 million growth capital. Since its foundation in 2020 the start-up has grown to over 15 employees.
