In addition, he is appointed as adjunct professor of Biochemistry at the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain. He has made key contributions to the understanding of structure-activity relationships of cell-penetrating peptides. In numerous projects he has collaborated with various biotech and pharmaceutical companies through which he gained broad experience in successful collaborations between academia and industry. In addition, he is intensively involved in education in all life science curricular at Radboud University, Nijmegen.
