Despite its similarity to naturally occurring mRNA, exogenous IVT mRNA is inherently immunostimulatory. This poses a significant challenge for the use of mRNA in research and therapeutic applications. To achieve the desired effect without triggering excessive immune response, it is crucial to reduce the immunostimulatory potential of IVT mRNA. Some use modified nucleotides to reduce the immune response, however this may induce ribosomal misinterpretation, leading to stop codon read-through and frameshifts possibly resulting in auto-immunity-inducing mis incorporated amino acids, which is critical for (repeated) therapeutics.
The RIBOSTEALTHTM technology reduces, and potentially prevents, the induction of innate immunity against the mRNA, which is particularly important for repeated therapeutic use. Moreover, you will be seeing the benefits of:

How to benefit from this program?
By ordering a non-optimized custom mRNA, you will receive 100 ug of custom sequence optimized mRNA for free. On this free sample, we will apply our RIBOSTEALTHTM sequence optimizing technology. This way, you will be able to test and compare both the non-sequence optimized and sequence optimized mRNA in your lab.
• You will receive 100 ug of sequence optimized custom mRNA for free, next to your order of custom mRNA, in exchange for mandatory customer feedback.
• By agreeing to join the program, you agree to conduct the experiments with the samples within an agreed time period.
• You commit to provide us with feedback and data on your results by filling a short survey about the performance and your satisfaction with both the non-optimized and the optimized samples.
• This may be followed by a 30-minute interview to have a better understanding of the data generated.

The following next steps will happen:
1. We will assess your registration with the information about your desired custom mRNA
2. If we have additional questions, our Product Specialists will contact you.
3. Once we determined that your request is eligible for the program, we will send you a formal quote.
4. If you agree to the quote, we will sign a mutual agreement to lock in your participation.
5. Once all is set up, we will directly plan for the production of your custom mRNA and your optimized custom mRNA.
Fine prints
• Each customer is allowed to 1 free sample of 100 ug, in combination with a regular custom mRNA, based on the same sequence
• In order to be allowed to the program, the customer has to share the sequence with RiboPro to evaluate the fit with the program
• Customer commits to generate and present results to us within an agreed period after receipt of materials
• In case the agreed period is not sufficient, customer may ask for a one-time extension period (contact Product Specialist)
• In case customer is still not able to meet the extension period, the material provided for free will nevertheless be invoiced and be subject to our normal payment term of 14 days after date of invoice
• Customer agrees that RiboPro may use this data in an anonymous way for generating marketing materials
• Customer agrees to our terms on the Limited License Agreement related to RIBOSTEALTHTM
• RiboPro reserves the right at its sole discretion to change the terms and allowance to this program
